Instructions
1
Form ground beef into thin patties, season with salt and pepper, and cook in a hot pan until browned on both sides.
2
Top each patty with sliced Gouda and let it melt; stack two patties together to form a double cheeseburger.
3
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, chopped pickles, salt and pepper to make the burger sauce; set aside.
4
In the same pan used for the burgers, melt butter over medium heat, add chopped garlic and cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
5
Pour in heavy cream and milk, add paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper; stir and simmer gently until slightly thickened.
6
Stir in grated Parmesan until melted and smooth, then add chopped parsley; the sauce should be creamy and pourable.
7
Toast the burger buns in a pan until golden and slightly crispy.
8
Spread burger sauce on the bottom bun, add lettuce, the double cheeseburger patty, and caramelized onions; close the burger, cut in half, and serve with the garlic Parmesan sauce for dipping and fries on the side.
