Baked Apples with Honey and Walnuts

Halved apples are baked with walnuts, honey and cinnamon until tender, then plated with a whey-boosted Greek yogurt and a scatter of fresh raspberries. The raspberries supply the fibre this glp1 build needs, while the protein-spiked yogurt keeps the dish satisfying without added fat.

Instructions

1
Preheat the oven to 190C (375F). Core the apples and halve them, then place cut-side up in a small baking dish.
2
Scatter the chopped walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon into the hollowed cores, then drizzle the honey evenly over the apple halves.
3
Pour the water into the base of the dish to stop the honey catching, then bake for 25-30 minutes until the apples are tender but still holding their shape.
4
While the apples bake, whisk the whey protein isolate into the Greek yogurt until smooth and no lumps remain.
5
Let the baked apples cool for 5 minutes, then plate into two bowls with a generous spoonful of the protein yogurt alongside.
6
Scatter the fresh raspberries over the top and finish with a light dusting of cinnamon before serving.
