Orange Slices with Cinnamon
A classic Greek taverna finisher: cold, syrup-sweet orange rounds dusted with cinnamon, finished with a thread of honey, chopped pistachio and torn mint. Nothing is cooked — the dish relies entirely on ripe fruit and the bright snap of citrus against warm spice.

Instructions
1
Using a sharp knife, slice the top and bottom off each orange, then cut away the peel and white pith following the curve of the fruit.
2
Slice the peeled oranges crosswise into rounds about 1cm thick, discarding any visible seeds.
3
Arrange the orange slices slightly overlapping in two shallow bowls, dividing them evenly.
4
Cover and chill the bowls in the fridge for 20 minutes to let the fruit turn cold and glisten.
5
Just before serving, drizzle the honey evenly over the orange slices.
6
Dust the cinnamon over the top, scatter over the chopped pistachio and torn mint leaves, and serve immediately.
